Akiko Suwanai's Concert
Akiko Suwanai
(諏訪内 晶子 Suwanai Akiko, born February 7, 1972) is a Japanese classical violinist.
She was the youngest winner of the International Tchaikovsky Competition in 1990. In addition, she won second place in the Queen Elisabeth Music Competition in 1989 and is a laureate in the International Japan Competition.
She has studied at the Toho Gakuen School of Music with Toshiya Eto, while at Columbia University at the Juilliard School of Music with Dorothy DeLay and Cho-Liang Lin, and at the Universität der Künste Berlin with Uwe-Martin Haiberg.
She currently plays on the 1714 Dolphin Stradivarius, which is a loan from the Nippon Music Foundation.

uhhh....dun think i ever posted anyting on dis page b4 i tink abt time i did haha...hei wat jebat said is rite dis is really......zzz =__= i noe dey might b cheapskate enuf 2 not turn the air con in dfp when we practise but dis is 2 much.......yea the kl ppl shud complain n fight for more rooms....its not like petronas cant afford it wats rong with dem =_= yea the non kl oso might wanna help out in helping complain/let kl ppl bunk in their rooms as well......i dont mind alot of ppl sleeping same room with me...just tat i kinda..take my time in the shower....need put contacts etc.....aisheh XDXD......TRIBE SPIRIT!!!

Chaos.
This is important.
I'm sure all of us have already received the e-mail from Audrey about accommodation for our next camp at DFP.
SOME camp, that is.
I really just don't get it. How can they not provide us KL people with accommodation? It's a CAMP, for goodness sake. What's the point of having a CAMP when not all the members are together in the same place to stay? They might as well call it 'daily rehearsals which will last for a week' or something.
Let's recall the December tour. Fine, KL people weren't given accommodation during those few days of rehearsals, and maybe that wasn't so bad, since we were going to be heading all around the country together anyway.
But THIS is outrageous. Really.
The whole point of a CAMP is to have everyone together. Can you imagine for some people living in PJ or other places which are far from KL? It's far away for us/them to travel EVERY DAY of CAMP to DFP.
Dylan and I were discussing this matter not long ago, and we thought that we should tell Admin that it would be very inconvenient for our parents to fetch us to and fro everyday. But even then, we would probably only manage to get one or two rooms. So here's the thing - if the tribe wants to stay together during CAMP, we need to cooperate to solve this problem.
Please, please voice out your opinions ASAP.

THE BLOG SEEMS DEAD APPARENTLY! SO INSTEAD OF DOING NOTHING ABOUT IT. WE SHOULD REVIVE IT! USING SOME SORT OF NECROMANCY OR CLERICAL SPELL and shit!
But seriously, we should post other things on this blog, instead of limiting it to tiki's long as the nile river posts which are sometimes hard to read. No offense intended.
THEREFORE, we should make an effort to post something at least every other week. So, to shake things up abut, why don't we do some music related posts, like reviews and stuff, of our favourite music, that doesn't have to be classical. So we can just get to know everyone's taste and shit, so that if someday we have to buy some sort of birthday present for somebody else or whatever, we have something to base our puchases on and shit.
ALSO! Nami left for Australia last night at 1040. We each should check on how she's doing soon (as in a week or two). Y'know. cos it's the nice thing to do.
